1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use SixPlates. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Our Services

SixPlates is a curated social dining platform that connects couples with other couples for scheduled group dinners. We facilitate the matching process using a proprietary algorithm (“The Recipe”), coordinate restaurant reservations, and provide logistical communication.

3. Registration and Profiles

To use our services, you must create an account and provide accurate, current, and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to update your information as needed.

4. Booking and Participation

We make all dining reservations based on group compatibility, availability, and preferences. Participation is not guaranteed. Selected users will be informed via email or in-app notification. Users are expected to behave respectfully and in accordance with social norms during events.

5. Payments and Fees

SixPlates charges a participation fee per dinner. The fee amount and payment terms will be disclosed before confirmation. Guests are responsible for their own food and beverage costs at the restaurant unless otherwise stated. Refunds or credits are issued in line with our refund policy.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use SixPlates to:

• Harass, abuse, or harm others;
• Violate any laws or third-party rights;
• Upload or transmit offensive, harmful, or misleading content;
• Interfere with the proper functioning of the platform.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts violating these terms.

7. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data are governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our services, you consent to our data practices as described there.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on SixPlates, including text, graphics, logos, and the algorithm behind our matching system, is owned by or licensed to us. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or use any content without our prior written consent.

9. Media Consent

By participating in our events, you grant us permission to use any photos or testimonials shared with us for promotional and marketing purposes, unless you opt out in writing.

10. Disclaimers

We provide our services “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the matching will lead to friendships, that restaurant experiences will meet expectations, or that all events will proceed as scheduled.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SixPlates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SixPlates and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your use of the service or your violation of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of Dubai.

14. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify users of any material changes, and continued use of the platform after changes constitute acceptance.
